A New Edition

For those of you who haven't heard yet, Parker and I have a new edition to our family! For months I'd been trying to talk Parker into getting a puppy. We'd looked into the idea a bit but were never able to find a dog that really seemed to fit what we were looking for. To make a long story short, my sister knew someone with a puppy that they could no longer care for and we're happy to say he has joined our home! Krug the pug joined us in April and the three of us are now happily settled. I should apologize in advance for the many, many stories you will probably be reading about him here. I hope a few of them will make you laugh as much as we have been in the last few months.

Getting Started

Last summer I kept pestering my sister-in-law Amanda about blogging. I'd had so much fun reading her blog that I kept thinking that keeping a blog would be a fun hobby for myself. It wasn't until Parker & I went to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving last fall that Amanda and I were able to get together and she could teach me the art of blogging. I was really gung-ho about the idea and made sure I carried my camera everywhere so I could always have it on hand for pictures. Needless to say, I don't know how all you bloggers out there do it! It's been months and I've finally found a moment for my first post. Woohoo! If I can figure out everything Amanda taught me I might be able to get this thing started...
